Our lesson model is built upon the IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) Independent Kiteboarder curriculum. At Zombi our philosophy is all about building safe, self-sufficient and progressive kitesurfers.
At the completion of your lesson you will be given an IKO certification card which reflects the skill level achieved and is recognized at regulated kite spots worldwide. We also offer the student the chance to purchase various IKO teaching aids to improve the progression of their learning curve.
At Zombi Kite we have several forms of instruction: private lessons, supervised riding, charters and one week camps.
Intro to Kiting
$75/hr, Get your first taste for kiting! We'll teach you how to setup and fly a smaller foil kite.
Private Lessons
$120/hr, two hour minimum (max. 2 students per instructor)
Supervised Riding & Charters
Supervised riding comes in several forms
i.) Kite Sherpa: Let us give you a hand with setup, launch/land at your local kite beach and keep an eye on you when you're on the water (for riders who have already completed our full IKO lesson program).
$75/hr (w/ your own gear); $100/hr (our stuff)
ii.) Kite Captain: Have a Coast Guard Certified Captain and a 23' center console T-top at your disposal and you are guaranteed to enjoy yourself on the water. We will pilot you to offshore sandbars, backwater coves and follow you on gnarly long downwinders. Winds off? Try one of our new strapless wakesurfers behind the boat and experience a neo spin on a tow sport classic.
$100/hr (your own gear); $120/hr (our stuff)
